We Believe…

That environment starts with caring, dedicated teachers who are trained to utilize a specialized curriculum to give each homeless child an opportunity to become self-sufficient and confident.

That the importance of a holistic ethos in our approach to creating welcoming learning environments for jeopardized children is paramount.

That hands on, interactive learning experiences are the most memorable for the kids.

That an integrated approach focused on nurturing the HEART, MIND and BODY of each young shelter resident will serve best in helping to guide these children to a happy, healthy life.

That by bringing play, laughter and joy to homeless children in the form of our lessons for life sessions, we can decrease the negative health impacts of homelessness.

Supplies provided to youth

E4L holds Back-to-School and Adopt-a-Child drives twice a year to collect resources for the children we serve in Baltimore and Harford County. Our efforts with the help of the community provide brand new clothes, shoes, backpacks, school supplies, toys, and so much more for the children living in the shelters we serve. We also provide care products, clothing, and other essentials throughout the year.
